Ewan Mackenzie has been playing a style of jazz/blues for many years, releasing Turquoise in 1995 and A Patch of Blue in 2001, both of which won awards in Queensland. His last electric lineup released a CD in 2014 called Alliance, recorded live at the Brisbane Jazz Club.

Ewan's current line up consists of himself on guitar and vocals, Mick Thatcher on guitar, Miranda Deutsch on bass, Robin Walsh on drums and Chris Hartley on keyboards. The band us working on a fresh batch of my original tunes and have gigs through to the end of the year, when they plan to record a CD.
